Landgoed Terworm is located right next to Heerlen. A beautiful old estate, with an impressive castle. You start this walk at the castle. The route then runs through the northern part of the estate. Here you walk around the Geleenbeek, the river that flows right through the estate. You visit the village of Ten Esschen and walk along the ruins of the motte-and-bailey castle Struyver.
