Along the way are Söderkulla, Porvoo, Loviisa, Siltakylä, Kotka, Hamina, and Virojoki. Along the route there are forest and field landscapes, as well as suburbs and urban areas. There are several services in the towns, and there are also rest stops and shelters along the route.

The Route of the Seven Brothers follows the objects related to Aleksis Kivi's novel and runs from Helsinki to Hyvinkää. The route can be taken in sections or one go. Much of the trip is near the settlement, but you can also admire the beautiful nature and stunning scenery along the route. The route is marked on the terrain with blue-headed wooden poles and signposted at the intersections of the fairways.
