Hotel Kukuriku

The trail starts from the town of Kastav, which is synonymous with rich history, geographical diversity and interesting architecture. Via Crekvina, the path enters the forest and goes towards the Zvirić pass and further towards Mačkova vrh and the village of Breza. The path briefly crosses the asphalt and re-enters the forest towards Škalnica and continues to Klana, from where it returns to Kastav. The trail follows the RPO (Rijeka hiking bypass) markings.

On Majevi peak there used to be a border between the kingdoms of Italy and Yugoslavia, and below the top there is the rest of the former watchtower. The path that leads to Majevi vrh (411 m) starts from the center of Kastav and leads over Belićev breg towards the top. The trail continues through Japlence and continues to descend through the Eco trail "Loza" which passes through interesting areas of the Loza forest. The trail returns back to Kastav.

The trail starts from Kastav towards the village of Jelovčani and before turning into the village continues towards the highest peak in Kastav, Mačkov vrh (504 m), which offers a beautiful view of the hinterland of Kastav, Učka and Gorski kotar, and from the south to Kvarner. From the top of the trail it descends to Šparožna jama and further towards the top of Stanić (465 m). The trail passes by the village of Brajani and continues further towards Kastav.

The trail starts from the village of Kastav, which is located on a 365 m high hill overlooking the Kvarner Bay on the northern part of the Adriatic coast. The path leads towards Breza and on the way back it goes over the highest peak of Kastava, the hill Mačkov vrh (504 m), from which there is a wonderful view of the hinterland of Kastava, Učka and Gorski kotar, and the south side and Kvarner.

The trail follows the route of the Rijeka Mountaineering Bypass (RPO) to Zvirić and continues towards the Stanić peak below which there is a rest area. The trail descends from the top towards the village of Brajani and further leads towards Kastav.
