You start this route from a detour on the highway. It is a bit complex, due to many loose rocks, but with suitable shoes or boots, you will reach the top of the hills without much difficulty. You can use the communication tower as a direction guide. The route takes you to two viewpoints with spectacular views from one side to the other of Balandra Bay, with its famous beaches and the iconic "El Hongo" rock formation.

This route takes you from the parking lot for Playa Balandra to a viewpoint between them. You have to go up and down a low and rocky hill, so you have to be prepared with shoes, but it is worth it with incredible views of the Gulf of California to Isla Espiritu Santo.
