This trail in the heart of the Cévennes National Park is the first segment of the GRP® Tour de la Haute Vallée du Luech, which starts in the village of Chamborigaud and ends in the hamlet of Castagnols, passing at the foot of the Pic de la Tourette. You will mainly cross wooded areas and several streams.

This long country hike in the heart of the Cévennes National Park goes around the Haute Vallée du Luech in the departments of Gard and Lozère. Starting from the small village of Chamborigaud, this marked trail takes you through the beautiful forests of the Cévennes, at the foot of the Tourette Peak, at Banette Pass, and in the villages of Castagnols, La Vialasse, and Vialas.

Hike in the national forest of Homol, starting from the small stone village of Pont de Rastel at the gates of the Cévennes National Park. The first third of the route follows the Luech Valley in the commune of Chamborigaud. Then you will climb towards the forest of Pont de Rastel, and you will pass near Ance Pass before descending to the starting point.
