Per the Adirondack Land Trust, please begin your hike from from home/accommodations, from a designated parking space on Mirror Lake Drive, or from a municipal lot. This is a very short but enjoyable trail through woods and then up onto a rocky outcrop with a nice view. Great hike for kids - streams to enjoy, woods and a very fun rock scramble with a rope to help you up. The views are great for such a short hike.

This is a short route around the Brewster Peninsula that provides excellent views of the surrounding Lake Placid and Buck Island. There are a few other trails that cut through this loop, making for plenty of possible segment combinations. The overall route is short and has minimal to no elevation gain, making this great for the whole family.

This is a wonderful set of trails, smooth, with gradual inclines, and plenty of interesting views. If you would like to start with the steeper section and return on a more gradual grade, you can take the right (west) branch onto the loop trail and do Rocky Peak first. There are some awesome viewpoints along the way.

Henry's Woods is a well maintained system of trails owned by the Uihlein Foundation that is open to the public. The trails are all well marked and easy to follow. It is a great area for pets and kids. The highlight of this loop is a great viewpoint of the surrounding mountains along the Plateau Trail.
