Great hike with beautiful rock outcroppings. Steep ascent, then a pleasurable walk through mossy areas and boulders. Stream crossing; when the water is high, walk upstream a few yards for an easy spot to cross. Beautiful pond at start of hike with benches and a picnic table. Remnants of Morris Canal incline plane, tow path and water turbine along trail.
