The trail starts in Lantsch in the middle of the mountain settlement and then it goes past Brienz/Brinzauls. Passing the Belfort castle ruins, we continue down to Surava. The castle ruins are clearly divided into an upper and a lower castle. The mighty square keep is probably the oldest part of the complex. Belfort is first mentioned in 1222 as the property of the Barons of Vaz. A great tour.

The second segment of the Via Albula / Bernina with route number 33 takes the explorer from Tiefencastel directly to Filisur. The highlight of this route is the imposing Landwasser Viaduct just before the enchanting town of Filisur. Before that, the trail passes the lush and foaming Albula source where there is the chance to head up to the photo spot for a souvenir photo of the world-famous viaduct. This route is also very suitable for children.

However, it is possible to relax and take a break along the route on the shores of the lakes. The entire route leads through and out of the heart of Ela Park...
