This hiking route of less than 5 km is well suited for family outings. Departing from the Refuge Hotel Les Campanules car park near Les Houches train station, you will take the Route de Coupeau to join the Chemin des Eaux Rousses on the banks of the Arve river. You will make your ascent in the forest, in the shade until the Route de Coupeau which will bring you back to your starting point. Beautiful views await you on this simple and varied route.

This hike from the Route de Coupeau takes you to the statue of Christ the King. It is 25 meters high and offers a panoramic view of the Mont Blanc massif. Under the initiative of the priest of Les Houches, Abbot Claude Marie Delassiat, this monumental statue was built in one year - from 1933 to 1934. You will pass through the hamlet of Méandres before reaching your destination. This hike is suitable for families with young children.

This route of almost 12 kilometers from Les Houches can be done on foot or even by mountain bike. The ascent goes through the fir trees until you reach Le Bettey and La Flatière. You will then continue on the Chemin du Plan de la Cry where you will find some shade. About halfway you will arrive at the Parc animalier de Merlet before descending into the valley back to the starting point. You will appreciate the superb panoramic view of the Mont Blanc massif.
