A fantastic circular walk in the Rhone Valley near Martigny. The path starts in Les Marécottes and leads on paved mountain roads, through an idyllic forest via Van d'en Haut to the beautiful Lac de Salanfe (1908 m). Here you cross the dam and continue hiking up to the Col d'Emaney (2462 m), the highest point of this route. The path then leads past the Alpage d'Emaney and back to Les Marécottes.
