The trail begins in the small, enchanted town of Les Rasses and then leads along a loop through the natural landscape. After just three kilometers the trail reaches the top of the Petites Roches at 1583m before continuing on to Le Chasseron peak at an impressive 1607m. After a breather the path continues down to the starting point.

This trail starts in Les Rasses and you come through the cultural landscape and the area of La Grande Joux until you reach the top of Le Chasseron. Along the way you also get over the top of the Petites Roches at 1583m and can enjoy the wonderful view. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.

The start is at Les Rasses in the canton of Vaud and goes up to Chasseron. A 1607-meter-high summit in the Vaudois Jura near Yverdon-les-Bains. It is part of the south-eastern chain of Jura Plié, which slopes steeply down to the Swiss plateau. The path then joins the summit of Mont de la Maya.
