The trail starts in Agno right on the shore of Lake Quattro Cantoni and then winds through the countryside along paved roads passing through Ponte Capriasca. The excursion continues in the wood above the top of Monte di Stinchè (1152m) up to the Capanna Monte Bar refuge (1600m). Then continue to the top of Monte Gazzirola (2116m) passing by the Garzirola refuge. This is Lugano's local mountain and offers fantastic 360 ° views of Lake Lugano and the high Alps to the west. Some paved and some dirt paths lead through the cultural landscape. One always gets great views of the lake and surrounding towns. In Bioggio one can take the little train or return to Agno on foot.

This path starts from the Agno railway station and enters Agno once the path passes the Church of Saints John the Baptist and Provino. Then it continues through Neggio and then Vernate until it reaches the forest. There the path leads along the MTB path in nature and then continues the excursion to the top of Monte San Bernardo. Then the trail leads one back down to Agno on small side paths.
