This trail starts in Lugano at the train station and then goes through the small settlement of Bre sopra Lugano over the Val dei Cugnoli valley. Then the path gets to the top of Sasso Rosso at 1294m and then continues to the top of Monte Boglia at 1516m and then goes down to the Capanna del Pairolo hut at 1347m. The trail is a way for a bike ride and comes across the cultural landscape. The path goes around Lake Lugano and about halfway one arrives in Italy above the summit of Sasso Bové at 1015 m. It then lets one arrive at San Pietro Sovera and then return to Lugano.

Meandering along the shore, it then continues through the park around the congress center and then leads past the Natural History Museum. The path then leads back to the old town through small winding streets where the cafes invite one to linger.

This path starts from Lugano at the train station and then runs along the shore of Lake Lugano up to Cortagnola. It continues to Gandria, following the Sentiero dell'olivo (Olive Path). Finally, it continues for a bit more to Albogasio, located on the other side of the Swiss border in Italy. It is possible to return to Lugano by boat. Wonderful walk between the city and the mountains that starts from Lugano, in the Canton of Ticino, and runs along the shores of Lake Lugano passing from Castagnola to Gandria. From here begins the climb to the summit of Monte Brè (925m) passing through Brè-Aldesago. From the summit you can enjoy a magical view of Lake Lugano. The descent passes through Aldesago and returns to Castagnola.
