The trail is interesting because along the way you can find hidden bays in the shade of the pine forest.

This beautiful and undemanding trail starts from Mali Lošinj (Velopina) towards the ancient fort Vela Straža (Monte Baston). It used to serve as a military observatory because the view from here reaches all the Kvarner islands and the surrounding mountains of Učka and Velebit, Augusta Bay, Lošinj hills and the town of Mali Lošinj.
