The Lägh dal Lughin (Lunghin Lake) is located at 2485 m above sea level in the Albula Alps in the canton of Graubünden. This small mountain lake is considered the source of the river Inn. The Piz Lunghin is located at 2780 m above sea level and offers an unforgettable panorama of the Upper Engadine and Bergell. That is why this mountain peak is well visited all year round.

The Lunghinsee, also known as Lägh dal Lunghin, is a beautiful lake in the Albula Alps and lies at 2,485 m above sea level. The lake is about 300m lower than the GIpfel Piz Lunghin and gives you fantastic views of the Maloja and Plaun da Lej region.

This trail begins in Maloja and is also part of the Via Engiadina long-distance hiking trail. The path starts in the middle of Maloja at a parking lot and then leads near the shore of Lake Sils/ Lej da Segl through mostly open terrain. One can have wonderful views of the lake along the way and it passes Sils im Engadin and then the hike continues through beautiful nature to Silvaplana on the shore of the Lake SIlvaplana/ Lej da SIlvaplauna.

The Maloja Express runs from Maloja to Castasegna through the Val Bregaglia. Just over half of the route is on natural surface, the rest on paved roads. The path begins on the Maloja Pass with a view of the Engadin lake district and leads past beautiful Bergell villages and through idyllic old chestnut forests.
