Leave Maloja and head northward over the Lunghin and Septimer passes. The pass trail leads on past mountain lakes to the next pass, the Forcellina. Next, take the steep descent on the right side of the valley down onto the valley floor, from where it is just a short distance to the village of Juf, the stage destination. This mountain bike tour starts from Maloja and reaches Lake Como in Italy. Always follow the pass road down to the Italian border, through chestnut forests, it descends towards Colico on Lake Como.

The third segment of the Senda Segantini takes one from Maloja via the Sentiero Segantini to the Engagdin lakes in the direction of St. Moritz and there directly to the Segantini Museum. Finally, it leads passing through the Stazerwald forest down to Sankt Moritz. This trail is marked with the number 25 on the yellow trail signs and it is very well marked.

This is path number 796 which goes from Maloja to Soglio. A spectacular scenic high route through the Bergell. The path goes via the old path to mixed forest over granite slabs with beautiful views on the other side of the valley

A nice hike from Maloja to Val Fex, crossing through Val Fedoz. Return to Segl in the Engadin. Beautiful views across Lej da Segl and into the Fedoz and Fex valleys. The Fex valley is a prominent tourist destination, and it is possible to descend to Segl by a horse carriage. Pretty hike from Maloja to Sils in the Engadin through the Fex Valley. Good views over Lake Sils and the Fedoz and Fex Valley. Fextal is a very popular destination; to return to Sils you can use the horse bus.
