Blooms Park is managed by the City of Manassas with trails covering rolling hills. Eagles, deer, turkey, snakes, and foxes have all been spotted in the park. The trails wind throughout the grounds of an old golf course. The city asks hikers to enter the trail system near the park entrance, please do not follow any sort of social trail into surrounding neighborhoods.

Even though paved, this trail is a great challenge because of the downhill and uphill grades. There are some beautiful views of streams and from atop hills with the flowers. There are benches every so often along the trail. Accessibility: There is 1 designated accessible space in the paved parking lot off of Manassas Drive at the south end of the trail. Follow blue blazes. There are milepost markers every mile. The trail proceeds east about 1/2 mile to Cub Run then south to Bull Run. The trail remains north and east of Bull Run for 18 miles to the main parking lot in Fountainhead Regional Park. Watch for the old Confederate artillery position near mile 4. Begin by hiking through the forest before heading downhill towards the river. You will hike along Bull Run before heading back up towards the trailhead. There are plenty of spots for kids to explore the river. The area is managed by NoVa Parks and has limited facilities. There are no trash cans on site so please pack everything out with you.
