This stage marks the start of the climb to the Col du Grand-Saint-Bernard. From Martigny, cross the town to Martigny-Croix (railway station) then follow the Vita route along the railway line. We start on the banks of the Rhône in Bransons towards Fully in the canton of Valais. We then climb towards the heights of Branson and continue on the heights to take advantage of the paths in perfect condition. We then descend to rejoin the edge of the Rhône and follow it to return to the starting point.

The departure is from the small Folterres parking lot (there is even public toilets). The route begins on a tarred gravel road that quickly gives way to a path that climbs into the forest and then along the side of the mountain between meadows and forest. Then, follow along you will reach the hamlet of "Tassonnière" which has a magnificent view of the valley and has several remarkable buildings. Descend towards "Fully" by a path that winds between the vineyards before reaching the village....

This beautiful circular hike leads to the "Les Follatères" nature reserve on Les Tâches (the spots), near Fully in the canton of Valais. The nature reserve features a variety of rare and unique plants that thrive in the Mediterranean climate. Fully is also the capital of the Arvines and the chestnut, which makes the journey into the impressive mountain landscape unforgettable.
