This easy route takes place within the Vulture Regional Natural Park. The departure is at the Monticchio lakes and the arrival is at the Female Morta rest area. At the starting point you can visit the Abbey of San Michele and the Vulture Museum of Natural History. The abbey overlooking the two lakes offers a splendid setting that completes the peaceful environment.

A bicycle excursion that starts from the Melfi railway station and continues in the direction of the Vulture Regional Natural Park. The route takes place in a counter-clockwise loop, passing by the Forest Refuge and Monte San Michele (1262m), then reaching Atella and continuing the stretch up to the Vonchia stream.
