The beautiful hike leads steadily up and down over grass hills. This adds up to a few meters in altitude on the 17km. The view is good and extends from Feldberg, Säntis, Churfirsten, Tödi and many other peaks to Lake Constance and Lake Zurich.

The trail starts in Mühlrüti and then it goes up via Alpli to the top of the Red at 1148m. Already here there is a view of the Tösstal, the pine cone country and the Hörnli. After descending to Hirzegg follows a longer ascent to the Schnebelhorn, where the can enjoy a fantastic view over different watercourses. After a few kilometers you reach Libingen and the village.

The trail begins in Mühlrüti and then climbs to the Regelsberg at 1036m above the Hulftegg pass at 954m. There one leaves the Toggenburger Höhenweg and one follows the Hörnli path up to the Hörnli hill. Then it goes through the Storchenegg area and the Regelsberg nature reserve. Then it ascends to the Hörnli viewpoint in Zurich with an outstanding panorama. Then go through the ravine wood and the ravine back to the start.

This beautiful and entertaining route is partly called the Schwabenweg and the Jakobsweg. The path starts in Hörnli, a mountain part of the Fischenthal municipality in the east of the canton of Zurich. This summit is a much-visited panoramic mountain in the Zurich Oberland and lies entirely within the canton. Then the path goes to Rapperswil, which is located on the banks of the Obersee.
