Nea Makri Beach - Agios Efraim Monastery (Παραλία Νέας Μάκρης - Μονή Αγίου Εφραίμ) From the chapel of Agia Kyriaki and the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of the Egyptian Gods, the route heads along the beach of Nea Makri and arriving at the marina, turns east and begins to head towards the foothills of Mount Amοmon, on the eastern side of Mt Penteli, where the Monastery of Agios Ephraim is located, from the 10th century AD.

Rependosa Waterfall and Dam at Mt. Penteli (Καταρράκτης και Φράγμα της Ραπεντώσας Πεντέλης) Easily accessible through a gently sloping path, the highest waterfall in Attica, with water falling rapidly into a small pond. Half an hour from the center of Athens, it is well hidden at the end of a gorge. The route goes to the waterfall and then to the Artificial Lake Rapendosa, which is a little further east.
