This beautiful hike in the Regional Natural Park of Corsica starts from Parata en Castagniccia in Haute-Corse. The course mainly in the forest leads you to the San Bartolomeu Chapel located on the ridge line separating the municipality from that of Velone-Orneto, at 1,074 meters above sea level, near the Pointe de Stolo. The panorama is superb over the plain of Moriani and the sea, over the piève d'Orezza and the San Petrone.
