From the top, you will have a spectacular view of Querétaro and the beautiful mountains in the distance. It does not have shade, and it is advisable to use sunscreen and stay well hydrated. Halfway through your journey, you will find a residence; everything continuing from here is private property, and you must ask permission to proceed.

You will pass through many interesting towns where you can stop if you wish, and you will climb the beautiful hills on the border between this state and Guanajuato. You will also cycle along several lakes and possibly spot waterfowl.

This route is made for mountain biking enthusiasts. You start your great trip in the parking lot for the Parque Deportivo de Jurquilla, and you pass by the Golf Club and its lagoon. You leave the city and go around country roads and cute little towns. In the vicinity of Charape la Joya, you turn west to climb a bit on the slopes of Cerro del Aqua. You descend from the hill to the beautiful town of Jalpilla, where you can rest on the shores of Lake Jalpa before returning to your starting point.
