This beautiful trail has a mix of wooded and waterfront sections and is popular for hiking, and horseback riding. Bug spray is recommended due to the number of bugs present in the warm months. it is an excellent network of trails that can be tied together to make a trip as long or as short as you want.

This is nice and easy with unusual elevation changes for Florida. The trail is well-maintained and easy to navigate with nice views of the ravine and lake. There are many opportunities to view wildlife and local flowers along the way. Users report that there are slippery bridges across streams and one section of trail that goes through an overgrown section of underbrush.

The route is not very well-marked and downloading the route beforehand to navigate is suggested. The scenery changes quite a bit along the route and there is a handful of elevation changes. There are not many views along the trail, however, there are many opportunities to view wildlife and wildflowers.

There are many beautiful majestic live oaks to observe and a diverse amount of plant and animal species live in the area. The county maintains these mowed trails.

This trail is the former Orchard Pond Road (and is still labeled as such on many maps). It was converted to a trail upon completion of the parallel Orchard Pond Parkway. The trail tread is often rocky, clay, or sand. It's open year-round, though the summer months are likely to be hot, humid, and buggy. There is trailhead parking at both ends.
