In the middle of the city and easily accessible (and free), the park offers paved paths, hills, ponds, and lots of flowers. It's often a bit busy, but it is typically meticulously maintained with beautiful photo opportunities everywhere. You can see the mountains from the lookout by the Bloedel Conservatory.
