The trail to the peak begins at the end of Rua Desembargador Martinelli Street. The level of difficulty is due to the steepness of the path. Perdido do Andaraí, also known as Pico do Perdido, is a rock formation of granitic gneiss. The place is considered the main symbol of the Grajaú neighborhood, being located inside the Tijuca Forest. The peak is 445 meters high, from the top a privileged view of the city, from where it is possible to observe the Guanabara Bay and the Rio-Niterói Bridge.

The route consists of steep roads and a lot of vegetation until you reach Perdido do Andaraí, which has a beautiful rock formation with a pyramidal shape. Its peak reaches 446 meters of altitude, with beautiful views. The trail reaches Morro do Elefante, which resembles the outline of an elephant. The summit reaches an altitude of 1,800 meters, providing an unforgettable panoramic view of the city. The route takes us to Andaraí Maior, with a beautiful peak of 861 meters in altitude.
