This route starts at Porto Quebra Mar, where the Joatinga Channel flows into the sea. The bike path goes through Barra da Tijuca and then through the Environmental Protection Area of the Municipal Natural Park of Marapendi. The place is surrounded by nature and is where the Lagoa Marapendi is located. The trail ends in front of Praia do Pontal.

The trail starts at the parking lot next to the Hotel Ibis.
