This trail is within the Chacrinha State Park, in a reforestation area. The São João hill offers a beautiful view of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Visitors are advised to return the same way they came, the different extensions lead to the favela and private properties.

The trail is made inside the forest and is considered easy.

To access the trail you start by the staircase in the community. The trail is not long, but because it is steep, with several stones and little signposted, it is not for everyone, as it requires physical preparation. The path follows Morro dos Cabritos until reaching the stone. From the top an incredible view of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas and part of the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
