It is located in an area of the Brazilian army, it's safe and used mainly for hiking. The route is almost entirely in a green tunnel of trees, lots of vegetation, and shade, bordering the sea.

Morro da Babilônia separates Copacabana Beach from Botafogo. There is also a favela that bears the same name as the hill. Along the way, you will pass the Mirante de Copacabana and the Mirador do Rio Sul, both places with incredible views of the beaches, Pão-de-Açúcar hill, and surroundings. The trail is made inside the forest and is considered easy.
