This magnificent hike passes by the pretty Calvaresc Lake and ends on the Piz de Ganan (2414m). The lake is officially called Lagh de Calvaresc and is a shimmering mountain lake on the eastern side of the Val Calanca in the canton of Grisons. It is located at 2215 meters, and the climb is part of the famous "Sentiero Alpino Calanca".

The trail starts in Santa Domenica and then steers up to Scandalasc at 1350m. Then it continues through the area with a great view of the Val Calanca valley. Over the height of Pare de Fora at 1580m the trail then continues to the top of Mont de Rodot at 1495m. At Augio the trail meanders all the way down and then follows the Calanasca River back to the starting point.

In the middle of the Val Calanca Park, this short hike stretches through nature. From Cauco, the trail leads from the Calanasca River parking lot and first leads past the historic 17th-century chapel of San Antonio and then into the forest. As soon as it crosses the tree line, the trail follows a short while along the Sentiero Alpino Calanca path and then goes down again to the starting point.

This walk invites the whole family to take a tour of the area in the Val Calanca Park. It starts from Bodio at the parking lot just outside the town and then follows the road along the Calancasca river. After about a kilometer the road reaches Cauco and then the route climbs a bit up to the chapel of Sant'Antonio, which dates back to the 17th century.
