This circuit owes its name to the Stone which marked the junction point of the Bans of Ste-Marie-aux-Mines, Aubure and Fréland. It is characterized by long rolling passages, a few small climbs, very beautiful views of the Rauhental valley, the hamlet of St-Pierre-sur-l'Hâte, and the Côte d'Echery.

Almost always in the shade of the forest, this route is particularly recommended during hot summer days. A third of the route, the Abri du Robinot can be a nice picnic spot.
