The first stage of the Walsweg with the number 35 goes to Hinterrhein. Around 1270 Walser migrated from Wallis, Pomatt and Gurin over the Passo del S. Bernardino to Hinterrhein. The appearance of the village is reminiscent of the time of the mule haulers and carters.

The trail starts in San Bernardino and this walk invites you to explore the nature around the lake. You follow the banks of the Moeasa river and then along the dam with a view of Lake Lago d'Isola. You can always enjoy breaks along the route. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.

Wonderful bike tour and backpacking tour that goes from the canton of Graubünden to the canton of St. Gallen to the border with Lichtenstein. The path goes via the beverin nature park and starts in San Bernardino and takes the direction from Chur to end in Sevelen. Great and difficult tour with very steep sections but fantastic views.
