Amazing wooded route is short and light. It will take you along the edge of Cerro El Picacho that is south of San Miguel Allende. Around this path there are also Cerro Palo Huérfano and Cerro Las Minas. From the highest point you will have spectacular views and surrounded by nature you will not want to leave. It is also possible to travel this route on a mountain bike.

This route begins in the Doña Juana ejido, where the gap to enter the crater of Cerro el Picacho is located. The path is narrow and a bit rocky, but visible. There is a lot of vegetation, so long pants and long sleeves are suggested. You will have beautiful views and the opportunity to observe flora and fauna.

Beautiful forested route will take you along the north side of El Picacho hill but it does not reach the top. It is of moderate difficulty due to the increase in elevation. You will walk under the shade of the beautiful oaks and with incredible views of San Miguel de Allende and the beautiful rolling hills that surround it.
