Day 2 of the two-day hiking trail OV-Stapper Heuvelland runs from Slenaken to Eijsden, via Noorbeek and Mheer. The two-day hike OV-Stapper Heuvelland is a beautiful weekend walk between Valkenberg aan de Geul and Eijsden, with a stop halfway in Slenaken. The route leads to the most beautiful spots of the Limburgse Heuvelland. The second day of OV-Stapper Heuvelland runs from Slenaken to Eijsden, via the villages of Noorbeek and Mheer. A tough circular walk through the hilly landscapes between Slenaken and Epen. During the walk you climb two large hills. First you climb to the top of the Teuvenerberg, located in Belgium. You walk back into the Netherlands through forests. After the village of Diependal you walk through the countryside to Epen. After Epen you climb the second hill.

Starting from the village in the hills Slenaken, you follow the first part of the Slenakerpad with this walking route. You walk north along the winding Gulp River and one of its branches, through an alternation of fields and forests and past Karsveld Castle. You walk up to Pesaken, from where you turn off again to walk back to the south. This part of the route mainly consists of walking routes through the forests of the Groote Bos.

Circular walk around and through the Groote Bosch, the woods located between Slenaken and Beutenaken. The route starts on the Slenakerpad, where you walk along the winding river Gulp. At Beutenaken you also cross the river. The second half of the circular walk runs through a variety of forests and meadows, with views of the hilly surroundings.
