A tough circular walk through the hilly landscapes between Slenaken and Epen. During the walk you climb two large hills. First you climb to the top of the Teuvenerberg, located in Belgium. You walk back into the Netherlands through forests. After the village of Diependal you walk through the countryside to Epen. After Epen you climb the second hill.

The sixth segment of the Krijtlandpad, between Gulpen and Slenaken, is a shortcut that divides the path into two loops. Starting from the village in the hills Slenaken, you follow the first part of the Slenakerpad with this walking route. You walk north along the winding Gulp River and one of its branches, through an alternation of fields and forests and past Karsveld Castle. You walk up to Pesaken, from where you turn off again to walk back to the south. This part of the route mainly consists of walking routes through the forests of the Groote Bos.
