Even though the Burgemeester Rasterhoffpark is close to the city and the highway, here you feel as if you are deep in nature. It is not a city park, but a nature park where the rugged grasslands are filled with water. Deck paths and bridges keep your feet dry while you enjoy the views over the meadows. Scottish Highlanders graze freely here, and with luck you can even spot a deer. There are several picnic areas in the park.
