This is a nicely shaded route that travels mostly along a paved path. There are beautiful viewpoints along the way, especially by Lake Esther where visitors can stop and relax by the water. Spur trails and connectors are available for those who wish to extend or shorten their route. This park is also conveniently located next to shopping areas within walking distance.

This is a short and easy trail used primarily for hiking. This interpretive trail in nested in the Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park. The trail passes remnants of an 1800's gristmill and was once part of a large plantation. Many native trees and plants are found along the trail. Visitors may encounter a variety of bird species including osprey. The Butler Mill Trail is a great hike for the whole family.

Leading from Tallahassee, this historic railroad corridor connects communities across the coastal lands of St. Marks. This pathway is a part of Florida's Greenways and Trails System as well as designated as a National Recreational Trail. At the southern terminus of the trail in St. Marks, there is plenty of dining, fishing, and history to learn in the area.
