Fantastic and varied cycle route. Instead of following the Julier Pass road, taking the trail along forest roads is also possible. Then, however, with more than 3000 meters of altitude, so rather to be taken with caution. The area is charming but has a lot of elevation gain, which one should definitely consider well before heading out. However, it is possible to relax and take a break along the route on the shores of the lakes. The entire route leads through and out of the heart of Ela Park...

The trail starts in Lantsch in the middle of the mountain settlement and then it goes past Brienz/Brinzauls. Passing the Belfort castle ruins, we continue down to Surava. The castle ruins are clearly divided into an upper and a lower castle. The mighty square keep is probably the oldest part of the complex. Belfort is first mentioned in 1222 as the property of the Barons of Vaz. A great tour.
