The trail starts at the valley station of the Medran II cable car and it follows the Chemin de Clambin path up the mountain. Then it goes through the open countryside until it reaches the summit of the Col du Mont Gelé at 2805m. It is a terrain, partly rocky, without much shelter, where you are exposed to the sun, especially in summer. So please don't forget to bring adequate sun protection and water.
