Loop trail from the center of Vorden around the Baakse Beek, to Hackfort castle and Vorden castle. This is a unique walk through the countryside around Vorden. The route starts in Vorden's Dorpsstraat and runs through the countryside, along rivers such as the Baakse and Vordense Beek. Along the way, the trail passes ancient farms and a water mill. With the Hackfortse Enkroute you discover both the history and the beautiful nature located near Vorden. Much of the route passes through the ancient estates of Hackfort, filled with fields, hedgerows, groves, ponds and monumental farms. You walk past Hackfort castle and through the castle gardens and the monumental water mill. The route also leads around the Baakse Beek and the Veengoot.
