There can sometimes be rocks that can be used to cross the creek at low water levels, but higher water levels will make this section impassable. This is a nice paved and gravel trail with good views of the lake and some shady sections. Trail is very clean and maintained with benches along the route. This trail is an out and back trail on the west side of the lake.
