The trail leads from the center of Zagreb towards Sljeme (1033 m), the highest peak of the Medvednica mountain. The path follows the Sljeme road, leads to the Puntijarka mountain lodge and returns to Sljeme and descends to the Grafičar mountain lodge (864 m) from where it continues along the forest path to Medvedgrad, a medieval fortified town. From Medvedgrad, the path returns to the center of Zagreb via Šestine.

The trail leads through the most famous Zagreb parks located above the city center on the slopes of nearby Medvednica in the Podsljeme zone.
