The shown route is a section of the traditional Grawe night marathon, which is held every year in Zagreb in August. The trail starts from Bundek and goes along the Sava embankment to the Sava Bridge, crosses to the other side of the river and continues along the embankment towards the Bridge of Youth, from where it returns to Bundek. This section is also interesting for recreationists.

This beautiful path leads around Lake Bundek, which is located in the city district of Novi Zagreb. Park - Lake Bundek was renovated in 2016 and since then it has been a favorite gathering place for residents of New Zagreb. Bundek consists of two lakes. On the eastern, larger lake, you can sunbathe and swim, while the smaller lake is reserved only for birds, fish and other small animals. The path leads around both lakes.

The trail leads from the center of Zagreb towards Sljeme (1033 m), the highest peak of the Medvednica mountain. The path follows the Sljeme road, leads to the Puntijarka mountain lodge and returns to Sljeme and descends to the Grafičar mountain lodge (864 m) from where it continues along the forest path to Medvedgrad, a medieval fortified town. From Medvedgrad, the path returns to the center of Zagreb via Šestine.
