The walking route that shows you different nature in Lochem than the Lochemseberg. This walking route takes you through the green and swampy landscapes located along the Berkel River. The green valley offers beautiful views and a wonderful walk. After the Berkel you walk to the Nettelhorst and De Heest estates. Via 't Overlaar, the Lochemse Enk and the historic center of Lochem you walk back to the train station.

An extensive circular walk filled with history and nature. To the north of Lochem are several estates, which this walking route takes you through and around. Soon after you leave the train station, you will find yourself at the Ampsen estate, a beautiful 19th century estate with a unique castle. The route leads to Huis Verwolde via the village of Exel and the surrounding countryside. You walk back to Ampsen on quiet country roads, where you end the walk with a visit to the Sterrenbos.

This is the official trail of Landgoed Ampsen, with which you discover the entire estate, the castle and some monumental farms. The walk starts at the entrance of the estate, passing the castle. The route leads over dikes, through forests, past monumental yards and between centuries-old trees. It is possible to shorten the route to 3.5 kilometers.
