At the northeastern end of Torsa Lake is Torsanpää, a resting place and beach in Pohja-Lankila along the Särkilahti road. On the other side of the road from beach there is also a lean-to shelter, a bird platform, and a bird tower. From the Punkaharju holiday resort, you can ride a bike through the wonderful lake scenery to Torsanpää. The Punkaharju Nature Reserve has been an internationally renowned tourist destination for several centuries. Its rugged pine trees and beautiful lake views create Finland's national landscape. The Kokonharju nature trail runs through steep ridges and along the route you can admire Finland's longest tree. The route is marked in orange. At the steepest points are wooden stairs that may be slippery in the rain. There is no winter maintenance on the route.
