Quiet forest walk through the woods of Garderen and the Boeschoterbos. Boeschoten used to be a heathland, which was planted with forest trees at the beginning of the 20th century. Now it is a beautifully varied heath reclamation forest. The forest offers a home to many birds, during walks here you will certainly hear a woodpecker. Red deer also live in the forest.

This Klompenpad owes its name to the Grieze Veen ("the gray peat"). The pond, which you pass in the first part of the circular walk, was created about 200 years ago when peat was excavated here during a fuel shortage. Streams lead you through the countryside and forests of Garderen.

You will also pass the Houtbeekweg, an old stream that has recently been restored and now offers a beautiful living environment for countless birds.
