This is a great hike, especially in the winter when the foliage is down to get a better view of the countryside, towns, and river below. If you want something short and quick with rewarding views this is it. The overlook area is very rocky and railings keep people away from the cliff face. Accessibility: This trail is likely not accessible for visitors using wheelchairs, mobility equipment, or strollers due to surface type and rocks in the trail.

This route is a well-blazed (light blue) and maintained section of Mason-Dixon trail mostly through forest with a minor stream crossing (and mini waterfall). The trail does border along private property as it descends down toward the Susquehanna so be sure to stay on the trail. The starting point is only a small pull-off area on the road big enough for 2 vehicles, but there is a large parking lot further down River Rd in Accomac if one didn't mind walking on road for a bit to get to the...

The abandoned Billmeyer Limestone Quarry is a fascinating sight worth taking the time to explore. While much of it must be viewed from behind closed-off and fenced areas, there are a number of foundations and ruins remaining to explore in and around the trail that leads from Koser Park to the White Cliffs of Conoy. Park for free at Koser Park where you will find a lovely cafe and Inn and walk on the nicely maintained, paved pathway to the Billmeyer Limestone Quarry. Fascinating history and...

As the trail comes to an end, the surface changes and it connects to the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, which is also marked with signs. There are 5 different parking locations...

This is a fun trail that can be as quick or long as you make it. The ruins of an 1845 Henry Clay furnace are a highlight. The is another trailhead located just north of the parking lot at Breezyview Overlook on the southern end of Chickie's Rock Park. The trail immediately descends 200 feet via a steep trail. For the most part, it is easily navigable, but there are a couple of places where the loose rocks, angles, and lack of anything to hold onto make a tricky spot. Trekking poles or...
