This loop follows both the Olinda Creek and the historical Mount Evelyn Aqueduct, which forms a link between townships of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. You'll find yourself surrounded by tall eucalypts, tree ferns and messmate and will most likely be greeted by fauna including Crimson Rosellas, Possums, Kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets and Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos. The terrain is a combination of gravel and dirt tracks. There are some steeper climbs so some level of fitness is required.
