The Dinkelroute is a short yellow pole walk marked out by the Forestry Commission. Stroll across the Lutterzand and along the steep banks of the meandering Dinkel River.

Great varied trail to the most beautiful spots of the Lutterzand. The route runs almost entirely around the area, starting at the Lutterzand pavilion. From here you walk directly into the nature reserve, along the strongly meandering river Dinkel. Here are shifting sands and forests. Then you go deep into the woods and heaths of the nature reserve and make a good round to the northern edge of the Lutterzand.

This route takes you over the edge of the Lutterzand and around the river Dinkel. The meandering river, its valley and green banks are famous among hikers, and this is a great walk where you can enjoy this nature in all its splendor. This walking route is part of the Twente Walking Network and is marked with green arrows. At the starting point Meuleman you can switch to other walks of the network.
