The orange trail on the Tankenberg has been plotted by Wandelnetwerk Twente. The route offers a beautiful nature experience with a lot of variety. The trail takes you through fields and old deciduous forests, over ancient medieval roads and past a small old chapel, through the gently sloping landscape of the Tankenberg with beautiful views. The trail is provided with information boards.

From starting point Tankenberg you walk along the edges of the forest to viewpoint 'n Preakstool. The route then runs through a mix of forests and farm fields into De Lutte. The walking route takes you back through fields, forests, past the Lady Chapel and historic farms. The walking route is part of the Twente Walking Network and is marked with red arrows. The route passes the starting point De Lutte, where you can switch to other walking routes of the network.

Walk starting from pancake house De Stroper through a wide variety of forests and meadows. Along the way you pass rivers, monumental farms and chapels. It is a hilly walk, and you climb to the tops of both the Paasberg and the Tankenberg. The walking route is marked with blue arrows by Wandelnetwerk Twente.

Hike from De Grote Zwaan you walk through the green. Along a viewpoint and on to the Rhododendronlaan, a lane that lives up to its name. This leads to the English gardens of the Kalheupink Park. The route leads back to the starting point through alternating green areas. The trail is part of the Twente Walking Network and is marked with purple arrows. At the starting point Kalheupink you can switch to other routes of the network.
